Summer is always challenging, it brings heat and lots of sweat .So keeping body hydrated and cool is quiet a tough task. India ,Australia ,Africa, America and several other countries experience tough summer time every year. Heat stroke ,sun burn ,food poisoning ,rashes ,dehydration and many other health problems are commonly observed in summers and the main reason is dehydration, bad food choices and development of excess body heat.So here are few must eat food items which should be included in diet to avoid all type of health issues and help you in beating summer heat.
1. Watermelon
Watermelons are seasonal they are commonly seen in summers.It is a watery sweet fruit containing many nutrients and antioxidants. They are approximately 92 % water which can help in proper hydration of body. Watermelons contain Vitamin B6 which can help in balancing hormone and help in calming nerves ,Vitamin A which promote skin and eye health. Everybody love to have ice-cream in summers and why not its great for reducing body heat and hydration but ice creams in market may lack in overall nutrient index .They may contain artificial colors, excess sugars and food preservatives ,so whats the solution of this ? Yes ,home made milk ice cream usually called as kulfi in india. Kulfi is made from condensed milk. Milk is heated till it remains 1/3rd of its original amount then sugar and dry fruits are added and cooled for 4-5 hours .
It is delicious and sweet yet healthy to eat contain protein ,B- Vitamins ,Calcium and healthy fats. Kulfi is very effective in cooling body. So must try kulfi this summer.
7. Milk shakes
Mango ,banana ,chocolate ,papaya are some of items used in making milk shakes .They are refreshing ,healthy and tasty. Fruits like mango, banana and papaya are very nutrition rich and have several health benefits. Chocolate on the other hand is a great mood booster. These shakes are best alternative of packed drinks. Also you can try cold coffee replacing common hot coffee.
8. Coconut and coconut water
Coconut water is the best drink to hydrate you're body. It supply body with loads of nutrients and antioxidants. Contain minerals like calcium , manganese and magnesium. It boost metabolism of body ,help in removing toxins and have cooling properties.On the other end eating coconut is also a good choice it can improve heart health , help in weight loss and increase skin glow.
